First Eucharist and First Reconciliation Sacrament Preparation: Students entering 2nd grade are eligible for first Eucharist and first Reconciliation. To register your student in a sacrament preparation program, you must sign up your child for the Sacrament Preparation in addition to the On-Site Faith Formation classes (or attendance at a Catholic school). Children signed up for Sacraments must have been participants in On-Site Faith Formation or in the FAITH program (home study option) one year prior to Sacrament and preparation and celebration. Families must submit a copy of the child's baptismal certificate before sacrament preparation begins if not baptized at St. Joseph the Worker.
Confirmation Sacrament Preparation: Students entering Grade 10 are eligible to begin our 2-year preparation for Confirmation, which would be celebrated in the spring of 11th grade. Confirmation preparation includes active participation in our OneWith programming Sunday evenings (or attendance at a Catholic high school).
